Experience

That’s how you want
to remember your wedding day.

Even if your wedding is taking place near your hometown, you still want to feel transported when you look back on your photographs. You want your memories to be infused with adventure, artistry, romance...even a little drama.

I want that for you too. Here’s how we’ll make it happen.

The sense of traveling to another world that contains only good things and happy memories.

It’s your go-to line—the highest form of praise. That’s because, when you hear the word “fairytale,” you don’t think of rhinestones and early Taylor Swift songs.

You think of the everyday turning into something magical. The way the trees transform during golden hour.

It was like a fairytale.

Right about now, I’m guessing your mom, your friends, your fiance...everybody is asking you what you want for your wedding day. You’re trying really hard not to use the word “fairytale” because you know it’s become a real eye-roller of a cliche. You also know there’s no such thing as “perfect” on this side of heaven. But every time you experience something that comes close, what do you say?

Local wedding photography packages begin at $2,500. Destination and elopement photography packages are also available—please inquire for a complete pricing list.

Your wedding day has finally arrived! Using our timeline as my guide, I’ll create beautiful portraits and capture special candids throughout the day. You’ll receive a preview shortly after your wedding (hooray!) and then it’s time for me to dive into editing. This is one of my favorite parts of the process—the moment when your story comes into focus and your pictures are infused with otherworldly magic! After using my editor’s eye to curate between 300-600 images, I’ll send you a link to view your complete gallery online. We’ll work together to make final selections for your printed heirloom album, which will be ready for display on your coffee table within two months.

I’m available to meet as often as you’d like throughout your engagement. Typically, I meet with each client two to three times before the big day. The week before your wedding, we’ll connect one last time to go over your final timeline and discuss day-of details. I’ll let you know how much time to allot for photos during your cocktail hour and confirm arrival details for your hair and makeup team. By the end of our meeting, you’ll know exactly where I’m going to be and when I’m going to be there. I’ll make sure that you have all the information you need to enter your wedding day with confidence.

A deposit and signed contract will officially reserve your wedding date on my calendar. If I’ll also be shooting your engagement and bridal portraits, we’ll set a date and time for both sessions. Not sure what to wear in your engagement pictures? I’m happy to provide suggestions or review your selections, and I also have a client closet filled with dresses you can borrow. Your engagement images will be delivered within four weeks of our shoot so that you can get those Save the Date cards out the door with plenty of time to spare.

Following your initial inquiry, I’ll set up a meeting so that we can talk through a few details face-to-face. If you live out of town or don’t have time to grab coffee, no worries! A phone call works just fine. I’ll ask about your history with your fiance—how you met, when you got engaged—and we’ll also discuss your personal style, favorite things, and all of the choices you’ve made for your wedding so far. After gaining an understanding of what’s most important to you and how you want your wedding to flow, I’ll share a general outline of what a wedding day looks like. Just like that, you’ve got a photo-friendly timeline going!

I had the advantage of planning my wedding before the days of Pinterest.

But I get it. That’s not your reality. It’s almost impossible to plan a wedding without Wifi these days. And even if you did manage to avoid all online inspirations, you’d still have the (unsolicited) opinions of friends and family members to consider.

How do you want your story to be told?

I learned something while planning my own wedding nearly nine years ago that I’ll never stop sharing with brides, and it’s this: Making decisions in an effort to appease family or impress guests is guaranteed to result in stress. The good news?

At the end of the day, what everybody REALLY wants is for you to be happy.
